    The guts of my Nike Plus

    So it looks like my Nike plus battery is dead. Me being the geek I am, I cracked it open and I'm going to try to replace the battery. I'm using a tutorial from http://instructables.com . After I have replaced the battery I'll let you know if it still works. Don't ask how I cracked it open, it was an ugly fight

    Yeah, that thing was terrible! I was able to put it back together with a new battery but it's not working the as it should so it looks like I'm going to have to pay $19.99 for a new one.

    I had the same thing happen, I even tried to solder the connections back. I am so frustrated that Nike would not make the battery replaceable. I will get a GPS system next time and save on the next pair of shoes too. Thanks for sharing your pain.
